My husband totally didn't think that this was a real place. Needless to say, we saw dozens of them.

Years ago Highland, Indiana Kennedy Ave
I've had this picture for years. Never could get rid of it just because I always wondered if the tennis balls were there on purpose or if someone did it as a joke.

My camera broke yesterday. I'm trying to find a suitable replacement and feel horribly naked without it. So, I'll be looking thru old pictures to post.
2009 summer Chicago, Illinois Boy's Town

October 7, 2009 Highland, Indiana
Last week my husband and I were driving this stretch of Kennedy Avenue and saw 4 deer but it was getting dark and I lazily had not had my camera out and at the ready. Today on the way to work I saw these 3 deer grazing in the same yard about 15 feet from the roadway. Even though I didn't have my camera out I was able to pull into a driveway and snap these pics that turned out much better than drive-by ones would have.

September 21, 2008 Griffith, Indiana
The clubhouse of the Colonial Golf Center after the flood waters had gone down quite a bit. At this point the water was only about 3/4ths of the way up the front door.
September 12, 2009 Somewhere in Michigan near Camp Betz
Two wild turkeys crossing someone's front yard. We had to back up to take the picture (damn going too fast!) and almost missed them completely.

September 12, 2009 Niles, MI
This guy was advertising a blue gill special at a downtown restaurant. After I took the picture he showed us his Michigan hoodie and asked if we would be watching them whoop Notre Dame. The mask stayed on thru the conversation.
